Free Website Structure Audit
Speed is only half the picture. This checks whether your site is organised in a way search engines can understand: heading hierarchy, internal linking, robots.txt, XML sitemap and basic crawlability, scored out of 100.

How it works
The five things it checks
Heading hierarchy, exactly one H1, H2s beneath it, no skipped levels. Internal linking, how many internal links the page carries and whether any go nowhere. robots.txt, present, and pointing at your sitemap. XML sitemap, present at the standard location, valid, and how many URLs it declares. Lighthouse SEO signals, Google's own on-page checks.
Why heading structure matters
Headings are how a search engine builds an outline of your page. One H1 states the topic; H2s are the sub-topics; H3s break those down. Skipping from H1 straight to H4, or scattering five H1s across a page, muddles that outline. It also matters for accessibility: screen-reader users navigate by heading, and a broken hierarchy makes a page genuinely hard to use.
Internal linking is the most underrated SEO lever
Internal links do two jobs: they pass ranking signal between your pages, and they tell Google which pages you consider important. A page with no internal links pointing at it is an orphan. Google may never find it, and if it does, it will assume the page does not matter. As a rule, every page should link to three to five related pages using descriptive anchor text. Never "click here".
robots.txt and sitemap.xml, in plain terms
robots.txt tells crawlers what they may look at and, importantly, where your sitemap lives. sitemap.xml is a list of every page you want indexed. Neither will make you rank, but missing them makes Google work harder to discover your content, which slows down indexing of anything new. One caution we see constantly: never list a page in your sitemap that is set to noindex. Search Console reports that combination as a hard error.
