Privacy Policy
How O9 Market collects, uses and protects your information, in plain language.
1. Who we are
O9 Market ("we", "us") is a web designing and digital marketing company with its head office at Powerhouse Road, Rourkela, Odisha 769001, India, and a branch office at Action Area IIC, New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata 700156. This policy covers www.o9market.com and services we provide.
2. Information we collect
When you submit our contact or newsletter forms we collect the details you provide: name, phone number, email, company, service interest, budget range and message. Our website also collects standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site.
3. How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver services you've engaged us for, send occasional service updates you've opted into, and improve our website. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies for basic site functionality and analytics (such as Google Analytics) to measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
5. Data storage & security
Form submissions are stored securely and transmitted to us over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations, then delete it.
6. Third-party services
Our site may embed services like Google Maps and use email delivery providers to send notifications. These providers process limited data under their own privacy policies.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email support@o9market.com and we'll act within 30 days.
8. Free tools & your data (DPDP Act 2023)
Our free tools at o9market.com/tools ask for your name, email address and phone number before running certain reports. This section explains that specifically, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect and why. Name, email and phone so we can identify you and send your report. Your IP address, to prevent automated abuse of tools that cost us API quota and server time. The web address you asked us to check, and the result of that check, so you can retrieve past reports. Your browser user-agent string, for the same anti-abuse reason.
Legal basis. Consent. You tick a box before submitting, it is never pre-ticked, and you can decline and still use the four tools that need no signup: the meta tag analyzer, schema generator, Google Ads waste calculator and Google Business Profile checklist.
How we use it. To send you the report you asked for. To send one welcome email. We may contact you once to ask whether anything in the report needs explaining. We do not run automated email sequences, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with any third party for marketing.
How long we keep it. Contact details and scan history are retained for 24 months from your last activity, then deleted. Rate-limiting records are deleted within 2 hours. Cached scan results are deleted within 7 days.
Your rights under the DPDP Act. You may ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete your data entirely, or withdraw consent at any time. Email support@o9market.com with the subject line "Data request" and we will act within 30 days. Withdrawing consent is free and will never be made difficult.
What the tools do with the website you enter. We fetch the public page exactly as any browser or search engine would, and we store only the result summary. We do not log into anything, we do not access private areas, and we never store your website's content beyond what appears in your report.
Security. Data is stored on our hosting in India, transmitted over HTTPS, and accessed through an admin area protected by a hashed password. Nobody outside O9 Market has access.
A note on shared connections. We record IP addresses to spot duplicate signups. Because many Indian mobile networks route thousands of users through a single address, we flag shared addresses for a human to review rather than blocking anyone automatically. You will not be refused because of your network.
9. Changes
We may update this policy occasionally; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
