Mining belt businesses run on phone calls. That is exactly the opportunity

In most industries, being online is table stakes. In the Keonjhar mining belt it is still a genuine advantage, because so few competitors have anything worth finding. Low competition is a temporary condition and it is worth using while it lasts.

Your buyers are not in the belt

A steel plant sourcing pellets, a trader arranging haulage, a contractor hiring equipment. These people are in Raipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata or further. They cannot ask around locally. They search. And what they find, or fail to find, decides who gets the call.

For transporters, publish the fleet

Number and type of vehicles, tonnage, routes and states covered, permits held, and typical turnaround. A plant awarding a haulage contract checks capacity before anything else. Most transport businesses in the belt publish none of this, so the one that does looks twice the size.

For crushers and pellet plants, publish the numbers

Installed capacity, grades and sizes produced, quality parameters, loading facilities and rail siding access. Buyers filter on these before they negotiate. Vague copy gets skipped in favour of anyone who states figures.

For equipment businesses, publish the inventory

Excavators, tippers, drills, screens, with make, model, year and availability. An inventory page generates enquiries continuously without anyone answering a phone. It is the single highest-return page an equipment hire business can have.

Google Business Profile matters more than you would think

Drivers, site supervisors and visiting buyers search on phones. Weighbridges, workshops, spare parts dealers and equipment yards all get found this way. The profile is free and takes an afternoon.

Photographs beat descriptions in this sector

Your yard, your fleet lined up, your crusher running, your loading operation. Heavy industry sells on visible scale, and photographs communicate it instantly in a way that copy cannot.

The short version

None of this asks you to change how you work. The relationships and the phone calls still do the heavy lifting. It simply means the buyer who has never heard of you can still find you, which today they cannot.
